At the end of April my Post Doc term was completed, and I have since left the University of Zurich, as well as Switzerland. I would like to thank Prof. Kim Baldridge for the opportunity to work in her group, and to the good people of the OCI thanks for making it a memorable and rewarding year. Auf Wiedersehen!

Welcome to Tirath Ramdas @ the OCI

You've reached the university website of Tirath Ramdas, a Post Doc in Prof. Kim Baldridge's Organic Chemistry Institute, University of Zurich, Irchel campus, Switzerland. I did a PhD @ Monash University's Center for Telecommunications and Information Engineering in Australia, where my research was in application-specific computer architecture.

So what does a computer engineer do in an organic chemistry group? There is lots of theoretical/computational chemistry to do! Right now I'm working on grid computing and scientific workflows.

This site is currently being built casually as I have time, so the Research page will come up gradually over the coming weeks (months?).

p/s-you may download my CV here, and visit my blog here (a mix of work-related and non-work-related stuff).
